About Trailblazer 2012 : Mechanical Engg. Students Associatioin is one of the most sought after association in our college.MESA hosts an annual state level symposium entitled TRAILBLAZER.Its basically a technical event . And this year we thought of raising the bar a bit higher.We merged entertainment into it.Techno-Entertainment!
Trailblazer 2012 : Tech Fest Events : Many interesting events are scheduled for this edition of Tech fest :
Events : Brain Burger Levels :- 1st Quiz (rapid fire)
- 2nd Movi Mania (Video questioning)
- 3rd & 4th are surprise rounds.
- Number of members in each team : 1
Entry Fees: Rs.150/team
Contraption Contraption Rules :- Aim- To put the tennis ball in goal post.
Rules- Min 5 steps & 3 energy conversions are required.
- Space of 10*10 sq.ft will be provided.
- 4 participants per team.
- Max. 5 interventions (handlings) are allowed & after 5 interventions 20 pts will be deducted for each.
- Contraption without interventions will have 100 bonus pts.
- Goal post, ball & 230 V AC power supply will be provided.
- Bonus pts will given to innovative steps & energy conversions.
- Judges decision will be final & binding.

Death Race : Challenge : "More speed, more power with minimum time"- Design a manually controlled BOT that has capacity to cover maximum distance in shortest possible time, challenging the hurdles and be one of the best opponents.
- Rules and regulations:
- The competition is based on time trail system. There will a qualifying round for each team.
- The top team from qualifying round makes it to the final round on basis of time trials.
- If any of the machines starts off before start up call, the counter would be restated and the machines will get a second chance. If repeated again then team will be disqualified.
- Your machine must be ready when call is made for your team.
- Robot must not contain any projection which can hamper anything in arena.
- Machine must not contain any readymade kits, pneumatic & hydraulic systems, i.c engines. Decision about your robot will be taken by the organizers.
All details of final round will be notified on the final day. Judging criteria:- Team will be judged on the basis of time trail and bonus gained in the qualifying round.
- Judges decision shall be treated as final and binding on all.
- Team specification:
Student from different institutes can from a team. All must have their valid identity card of their respective educational institutes with them. Certificate to all participating team will be awarded, but not to the team getting disqualified (decision of disqualification will be taken by the organizers.): To know more details about
