Infrared Audio Transmiteer Sep 27th 2012, 20:14 In this project we aim to design and build a hardware model of IR transmitter and receiver that is capable of communicating data over a short range. The device we plan to build could be integrated with the digital devices to transmit signals in the audio frequency range of 20Hz to 20000Hz over a range of 2 to 3 meters. Also we aim to study the properties of the IR communication in terms of the range acquired and the power requirements of the system.
