Nov 28th 2012, 13:50 Assumption implies the act of taking something for granted. In logic the assumption means a proposition used as a premises, as an argument. In this type of questions, one statement is given which is followed by two assumptions marked I and II. The candidate is required to examine the given statement and decide which of the assumptions is implicit in it. The answers should be indicated as under: a) If only assumption I is implicit b) If only assumption II is implicit c) If either I or II is implicit d) If neither I nor II is implicit e) If both I and II are implicit So here we start !!! STATEMENT: opening a library in Munnar will be a wastage. ASSUMPTIONS: 1) Inhabitants of Munnar are illiterate. 2) Inhabitants of Rambli are not interested in reading.
