myEngg.com: NIIT 2013 Eligibility Criteria Nov 29th 2012, 05:53 myEngg.com The Engineering Universe NIIT 2013 Eligibility Criteria Nov 29th 2012, 05:26 NIIT 2013 B.Tech Admissions Eligibility Criteria All the Students who aspires for B.Tech Under Graduate Admissions in NIIT University are hereby informed to check the NIIT 2013 Eligibility Criteria  before applying for NIIT 2013 Admissions. Students who Satisfy the eligibility Criteria are only Eligible for NIIT 2013 Admissions. The applicant should: Have submitted the Early Admission Application form by specified date. Have scored an aggregate of ≥60% marks or equivalent in grades in Class X from any Board in India or its equivalent from any other country. Be pursuing Physics, Chemistry and Math's (PCM) in Class XII for CSE & EC streams. Be pursuing Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) or PCM or PCMB in Class XII for Biotechnology (BT) stream. Should be appearing in the Board examination in March/April 2013 or should possess the score of Class XII Board examination from year 2011 or 2012. Candidate must have appeared in either JEE-Main or BITSAT or SAT or NUET (NIIT University Engineering Test) or any State Engineering Entrance Examination and should have valid scores. Eligibility Criteria Equivalence for IB and IGCSE Programmes For B.Techprogramme applicants, who are appearing either for the Cambridge, IGCSE examination (A Level) or International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum of five subjects, including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and/or Biology, admission and scholarship (if eligible) would be granted based on the predicted score. The applicant would enrol in the NIIT University and deposit the applicable fee. On receiving results, by Aug 11, 2012, the admission and scholarship would be confirmed and the candidate would need to deposit the applicable fee, based on the actual score achieved. For applicants who have given their board exams in either 2010 or 2011, admission and scholarship will be determined based on their actual scores.
